The Jawoyn Association is preparing to hold a meeting next month to authorise an application to determine native title in and around Katherine.

The application will cover the same area the Dagoman people laid claim to 18 years ago, a claim that hasn’t been settled.

Jawoyn says it wants to see Katherine grow and develop – and resolving the native title issue will help that to happen.

The authorisation meeting will be held at:
